Delphine Dried Stems is a set of five protea repens dried flower stems handcrafted in our Hampshire studio — bold, textured dried blooms with a sculptural quality and the dramatic character of a large-scale botanical specimen.
Protea repens is a distinctive bloom. The heads are substantial and layered; the stems are long and sturdy. Natural earthy tones — warm, grounded, the kind that sit well with neutrals and work equally in bolder colour schemes. Each stem is slightly different, as you would expect from a natural dried botanical.
Use Delphine as a statement vase piece, a focal point in a mixed dried arrangement, or as individual stems distributed through a room. The protea repens has enough visual weight to hold a display on its own but also plays well with other stems — particularly lagurus, broom bloom (Genista), or bleached natural grasses. A lasting, low-maintenance piece with a strong character.
What’s Inside
A single dried protea stem with serious presence. The outer bracts fan open in deep rust and terracotta, fading to warm caramel layers beneath, with a pale parchment disc at the centre. It is the kind of stem that holds a vase on its own and still makes people stop and look.
