Hugo Wreath is a dried botanical wreath in warm orange and natural green tones — eucalyptus and complementary dried botanicals, handcrafted in our Hampshire studio. At 25cm, it is a compact and well-resolved piece.
Eucalyptus gives Hugo its structural base — stems with a cool blue-green tone that sits against the warmer orange botanicals and creates depth in a small format. The orange tones are earthy rather than vivid: burnt and muted, the kind of colour that reads as warm rather than loud. The combination gives the wreath a quality that is genuinely autumnal without being a seasonal novelty.
Hugo works on an interior wall, a kitchen door, or a smaller front door where a larger wreath would be too much. It is also a well-considered gift — compact enough to post, characterful enough to be worth giving.
What’s Inside
Warm pampas plumes in russet and auburn tones curl through this wreath alongside vivid rust-orange safflower heads, giving it serious autumnal warmth. Sage-green eucalyptus cools things down, while cream bunny tails and straw-coloured millet grass soften the frame. Dark chocolate honesty pods with their silvery inner discs tuck in as a tactile surprise, and rust-red statice ties the warmer tones together.
Bunny Tails (Lagurus ovatus), Millet Grass (Panicum miliaceum), Pampas Grass (Cortaderia selloana), Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius), Honesty / Money Plant (Lunaria annua), Statice (Limonium sinuatum), Small-Leaf Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus parvifolia / cinerea), Quaking Grass (Briza media).
Care Tips
The wreath carries a gentle, hay-like scent straight from the studio. Hang in a well-ventilated spot away from direct sunlight and damp. Dried stems hold their shape well — dust occasionally with a soft brush or a gentle puff of compressed air.
